This coaching agreement outlines the terms of your work with Makida Arshi and Us and Our Voice. Coaching is a collaborative partnership designed to support you in navigating the unique needs of your family. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional mental health treatment. If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a licensed mental health professional or emergency services immediately.

Your coaching sessions are confidential within the limits of the law. Makida will not share information about your sessions without your written consent, except as required by law or when there is imminent risk of harm. Sessions are conducted virtually via secure video conferencing. You agree to participate from a private, distraction-free space when possible and to maintain a reliable internet connection.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full credit or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. If Makida needs to cancel, you will be offered a full refund or rescheduled session at no cost. Consistent no-shows may result in termination of the coaching relationship.

Payment is due in full before your first session. We accept all major payment methods and offer flexible payment plans for multi-session packages. Refunds are available only if coaching is terminated by mutual agreement before your first session begins. After your first session, fees are non-refundable but may be applied as credit toward future sessions if you need to pause your coaching.

Either party may end the coaching relationship at any time with written notice. Makida reserves the right to terminate coaching if she believes the relationship is no longer serving your best interests or if there are concerns about safety. Upon termination, you will receive a summary of progress made and recommendations for next steps in your journey.
