Makida is a coach, not a therapist. She doesn’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, she offers practical guidance, emotional support, and a listening ear from someone with lived experience. If you need therapeutic support, she can help you find appropriate resources.
All sessions are currently virtual via secure video call. This allows Makida to support families anywhere.
That depends on your goals. Some parents feel supported after a single session. Others prefer ongoing connection. We’ll find what works for you.
Absolutely! Many couples attend together. There’s no additional charge for partners joining sessions.
Life happens. Just provide 24 hours’ notice and we’ll reschedule with no penalty.
